bob's video venue has a membership fee of $5.00 and tape rentals are $1.50 each. video heaven has no membership fee and tape rentals are $2.00 each. how many tapes must be rented in order for bob's video venue to be more economical?

well heres the sums i did: 
$1.50 x 11 = $16.50 + $5 (the membership fee) 
= $21.50 for 11 videos 
compared to: 
$2 x 11 = $22 for 11 videos 

therefor: The Video Venue is more economical starting on the 11th tape
