A novel is a piece of literature in prose with long narratives. It as a narrative with a chain of stories which includes settings, characterization and an ending. Novels unlike short story focus on more than one plot and characters. Novels include multiple themes whereas, short stories have a single theme. Therefore, novels have multiple settings to let the reader keep interested.
