1) Yes. She could save a lot of money by shopping in other stores. For example, If she really needs some clothes she can find some in second-hand stores or if she is not willing to go there she can follow discounts on the internet and buy something cheaper than usual. She can also go on the sites with coupons and try to find something that will help her to stay on her budget. There are always discount stores, outlet stores, chain stores and others where she can get nice clothes and even find something expensive for a very good price.
2) It will have a big impact because she is paying her college and she is working hard for that. If she ends up taking student loans she will be always in minus. Department stores would take all of her money because she has 300$ and in other stores, she can spend much more and ends up with also nice clothes. She can save that money that she has and then with her monthly savings she can have enough for paying college and some nice part of clothes from the department store.
3) If I was in her shoes I will save up that money. Why? Because I was working hard for it and that money is mostly used for paying college. I would like to think that I will buy enough clothes in department stores when I graduate from college. On the other hand, If I really need some clothes I will look up in the outlet store or discount store. For students, there are always more important things than clothes such as food, literature for studying, vocational courses, apartments, college tuition and more. That is why I would rather save that money and spend some of it when I have enough.
