We need to find the descent of feet per sec.

To find this, use the same thing as miles per hour

Distance/ time=speed

Red: 20÷8=2.5m/s

Blue:24÷12=2m/s

Therefore the blue one descends the slowest

Find the unit rate of each by dividing distance by time:

20 /8 = 2.5 feet per second

24/12 = 2 feet per second

The blue parachute is falling slower.
