Social dilemma: The term social dilemma is defined as a particular situation in which a person gets benefited from selfishness rather than the other person who also chooses the same alternative and therefore the entire group losses.

A particular group of people should work together to acquire a specific goal rather than a person working alone, even if one of the group members is not involved to help to achieve the goal yet the task completion will be considered to as enjoyable.

What is a social dilemma?

This is a dilemma that occurs due to the fact that all are not cooperating. It is better off that all of the individuals that are involved are cooperating in a social dilemma.

This would prevent the issue of conflicting interests where people may end up having to take other choices.
