Most incoherent paragraphs are the result of a writer thinking in individual sentences. Coherent paragraphs should have sentences that are related, logical and consistent. The ideas of the sentences should be related and connected to each other. Thinking of sentences individually will lose the quality of the paragraph for being whole or unified.
