The Aztecs adopted the stone calendar from the Maya civilization. This calendar was adopted by other Mesoamerican nations like the Toltec and the Aztecs. The stone calendar was a 365-day agricultural calendar. It was a calendar of complete complexity and accuracy. It uses 3 different dating systems; the divine calendar( Tzolkin), the Long Court and the civil calendar(Haab).
