How was the passage of the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, an example of the importance of political participation? Please respond in a paragraph of at least three to five complete sentences.

Respuesta :

To start off, the 15th Amendment just said that the race, color, or former type of servitude must not stop a person from voting. This amendment gave way to the African-Americans to vote. Now, the 19th Amendment said that a person's gender or sex must not stop a person from the right of suffrage. This is an important part of history because the right to suffrage is just a step towards the idea that women are as capable as men. Moreover, they must not be treated lesser than the other gender simply because they are women.

They could vote it many states but not all of them....Apex
