  • The Darien wilderness is a jungle and swampy territory that has prevented connecting the north and south of the American continent by road. It is one of the most biodiverse areas in the world.

B. Guayas River: (2) Ecuador

  • It is a river that is born in front of the city of Guayaquil and is considered one of the most important in Ecuador. Because of its flow, it is a navigable river. Throughout the river basin, there is a variety of flora and fauna. However, it has been diminished by the presence of projects and developments for the export of wood.
