Distribute the -2 to all of the terms inside the parethesis.
(For exmaple this would make c, c^-2)
If the exponent is negative. You flip it to the oppisite side. c^-2 would become 1 over c^-2 (making it a fraction)
If the term is in the denominator move it to the numerator. If the term is in the numerator move it to the denominator.
