A food chain is a chain of different animal species that are dependent on the next as a source of food. If one source dies, then the chain starts to break.

Food webs are a system off overlapping food chains. Basically meaning, many food chains combined together.
Pyramid Model
A pyramid model includes the following:
- Primary Producers
- Primary Consumers
- Secondary Consumers
- Tertiary Consumers
