Anthropology is the study of human features and behaviour nowadays and along history. It contains several subfields: sociocultural, biological, archaeological and linguistic.

Within the sociocultural anthropological studies, an economic field of study is embodied. It studies how goods and services are manufactured and distributed in a society, hence it studies the same topics as the traditional economic science, but being extremely critic with its main principles.
