In the Hindu conception the soul is immortal. In this way, after death, the soul remains in another plane until reincarnated in another body. However, conditions in which the human being is born are derived from his karma, or from his actions in previous lives.

In this context, earthly life is considered undesirable, and in order not to return to this plane one must reach the evolutionary degree in which his actions only result in positive consequences. Thus, the person interrupts the cycle of rebirth and finally joins the spiritual world (nirvana).

The religion that believe in enlightenment through reincarnation is Hinduism.
