Use the height of the cone and the radius of the base to form a right triangle. Then, use the Pythagorean theorem a^2 + b^2 = c^2


6.2^2 + b^2 = 14^2

38.44 + b^2 = 196


Get b^2 by itself

196-38.44 = b^2 =157.56

Then sqaure root it which is about 12.55229063
