Hello!
First you have to find how many plastic bags Carol needs.
You can do this by dividing the amount of mix by the amount she puts in a bag
[tex] \frac{9 1/3}{2/3} [/tex] = 14
She needs 14 plastic bags
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
B)
You have to find how much granola she made
She made 4 times the amount she did before
So we do
9 1/3 * 4 = 37 1/3
She made 37 1/3 cups of granola
Hope this helps!

change 9 1/3 into an improper fraction 9*1+3=12 so 12/3 is ur improper fraction.
divding fractions is the same as multiplying the reciprocal( upsidedown fraction)
12/3*3/2=
12*3=36
3*2=6
36/6 simplifyed = 6 so she needs six bags
(b)
4=4/1 so...
12/3*4/1=
48/3=16 so 16 cups
