Encoding
This is usually the first process that memories have to go through before they are stored. It does this so that our system will be able to cope with memory and also be able to pull it out later if it is required. Memory can be encoded into things we can see, hear and also make meaning of. When information is broken down and arranged in arranged into a group that the senses can easily identify with, we can say that encoding have taken place
