One of the key steps to a successful story is preparing the children before you start. Naturally curious, the children will probably want to come up and interact with your props during the story. What is one way to handle this situation?
1) Allow the children to touch and explore the props before the story begins
2) Keep the props out of reach and encourage the children to listen and watch
3) Ask the children to sit still and not touch anything during the story
4) Tell the children not to touch the props and continue with the story
