The Tacoma Community College Environmental Club (EC) is planning its
annual fundraising event where it will serve three kinds of treats. The
Regular EC bars use 2 ounces of toasted oats, 4 ounces of almonds and 2
ounces of raisins. The EC Plus bars use 2 ounces of toasted oats, 8
ounces of almonds and 4 ounces of raisins. The EC Supreme bars use 10
ounces of toasted oats, 8 ounces of almonds and 8 ounces of Raisins. The
club has available 3,000 ounces of toasted oats, 10,000 ounces of almonds
and 4,000 ounces of raisins with which to make the three kinds of treats.
The Choral club makes a profit of 6 dollars on each serving of granola, 8
dollars on each serving of Granola Plus and 3 dollars on each serving of
the Granola Supreme bars.
Assuming that the Environmental club can sell all the treats that they
make, how many servings of each type of bar will maximize profits?
