The hydrogenolysis of thiophene of thiophene (C4H4(S)) has been studied in an ideal CSTR containing 8.16g of cobalt-molybdate catalyst. The stoichiometry of the system can be represented by C4H4S 3H2→C4H8 H2S C4H8 H2→C4H10 All chemical species are assumed as ideal gases under 832mmHg of the total pressure in the reactor, P.
