(2) A cube has a volume 2160cm cubed. What is the length of each side? Leave in simplest radical form.

Respuesta :

(1) A of square =  [tex]l[/tex]²

    if   Area = 240 cm²
then  [tex]l[/tex]² = 240 cm²

⇒ √([tex]l[/tex]²) = √(240 cm²)

⇒   [tex]l[/tex] = √(16 × 15)

       [tex]l[/tex]  =  4√15

(2) V of square =  [tex]l[/tex]³

    if   Volume = 2160 cm³
then  [tex]l[/tex]³ = 2160 cm³

⇒ √([tex]l[/tex]³) = ∛(2160 cm³)

⇒   [tex]l[/tex] = ∛(216 × 10)

       [tex]l[/tex] = 6 ∛10
