PLEASE HELP!!
1. Write down the scene you've chosen from Shakespeare's Macbeth and look up 7 to 10 words you think students might need to know in order to understand the text. Define them in your own words.
2. Note the pronunciation of at least two of the words you looked up in question 1. Don't try to use fancy notations to explain pronunciation. Just provide a word that rhymes with the word you describe.
3. If any of your definitions are long or hard to explain, look up the words in a thesaurus and write a one-word synonym instead. Be sure to choose a word that conveys a similar feeling.
4. Look up at least two of the words you defined in question 1 in an etymology dictionary and describe their histories.
5. Describe several examples of figurative language used in your scene.
6. Describe the rhythm and identify the poetic meter of three to six lines of the play. Pick lines that are good examples of the kinds of poetic structure Shakespeare uses.
7. Copy and paste the scene you're annotating. Use the information from your answers to questions 1 through 6 to create annotations styled as footnotes. You need to create a total of 12 to 18 annotations. The annotations may define words, provide pronunciation information, describe etymologies, explain figurative language, or analyze poetic rhythms.
8. In the space provided, write a one- or two-paragraph conclusion describing the tone and character development in the scene.
