-Fionas hair is red in both the movie and book.

-They have the same rules (EX: Do not lie and so on)

-Birthmothers exist both in the book and movie.

Differnces:

-Jonas looks and sounds way older than 12.

-They got rid of the house of the old scene.

-The memories are transferred when The Giver grabs Jonas' wrists
