I often say that the cause of World War Two is World War One. Based on what you've learned in this lesson about the end of World War One and the Treat of Versailles, explain what you think I mean by this.

The teacher probably meant that because the Germans lost in world war one and all of the expenses were put on them, they were completely bankrupt and in an economical collapse. That is why when Hitler came along, everyone voted for him because they saw him as a beacon of hope. On the concept of the treaty of Versailles, this was the treaty that said the Germans had to take all of the expenses and lose a ton of their land. This treaty ended WWI but also set the basis for WW2
